For many years, you may have known me as Wendy’s Whimsical Wonders in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. It was a name that fit a wonderful season of my creative life, a place filled with color, imagination, beautiful things, and, of course, a little whimsy.
But as life has a way of doing, my creative journey has continued to grow and change.
Over the past several years, I found my way back to something that had been part of me since childhood: being an artist.
I began drawing and painting when I was young, but life took me in other directions for many years. When I finally picked up a paintbrush again, something awakened in me that I hadn't realized I had missed so deeply. One painting led to another. I began experimenting with watercolor, acrylic, oil, and even painting furniture as a canvas for my art.
Somewhere along the way, I realized that I had outgrown the name Wendy’s Whimsical Wonders.
It was time for my business to reflect not only what I sell, but who I am and what I create.
And so, Wendy’s Whimsical Wonders has become Wendy Molinaroli Art.
You will still find some of the beautiful creative products I have loved carrying, including DIY Paint and other supplies that inspire creativity. But you will also find much more of me here, my original paintings, fine-art giclée prints, art furniture, notecards, and other ways to bring my artwork into your home.
This change feels very personal to me. I am no longer hiding behind a whimsical business name. I am putting my own name on my art and allowing myself to say, I am an artist.
For those of you who knew and supported Wendy’s Whimsical Wonders, thank you. You have been part of the journey that brought me here.

This isn't really the end of Wendy’s Whimsical Wonders. It is simply the next chapter.
Same Wendy. Same love of beautiful and unusual things. Just a little more art, and a name that finally feels like me.
